David became Chair of MIAL in 2018 and has significant experience in the industry having previously held the Chair role at Asian Shipowners Association and Managing Director, Teekay.

David has a deep interest in workplace relations developed as Director Human Resources, Teekay Shipping (Australia) and Director Human Resources, Australian Shipowners Association Limited. He also held other management roles with ANL and BHP. David has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws.
