Jean-Marc Lacave

Jean-Marc Lacave joined Armateurs de France as Managing director in September 2019.

He started his career at the Ministry of Equipment, where he held several technical, operational or strategic positions for 20 years. He notably headed the autonomous port of Le Havre (2000-2008) and joined the Management Board of the company CMA CGM (2008-2010). He joined the General Council of the Environment and Sustainable Development of the State in 2010 to manage several files relating to water, transport and energy.

Chairman and CEO of Météo-France from 2014 to 2019, he led a strategic reorganization aimed at taking advantage of new technologies, providing the establishment with powerful calculation means in order to develop weather and climate services adapted to the needs of institutional users, general public and economic players.
