Mark Martecchini is Managing Director of Stolt Tankers, based in their Rotterdam, Netherlands headquarters. He is responsible for ship management activities for Stolt-Nielsen’s managed fleet of 100 deep sea and regional chemical tankers with shore staff in Rotterdam, Manila, Houston and Singapore and 3900 sea staff afloat.

Mark has served in this position since 2019. Prior to this, he held numerous positions in his 37-year career with Stolt-Nielsen in the areas of commercial and technical management, chartering, logistics, marketing and strategic planning and projects, in Connecticut and Houston, US.

Mark Martecchini is a 1979 graduate of Webb Institute in naval architecture and holds an MBA from New York University. He serves on the Boards of the International Chamber of Shipping, the International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation and the Liberian Shipowners’ Council. He is a member of the Executive Committee of Intertanko and is Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the Webb Institute.
