Natalie is an advocate for ensuring adequate welfare provision for seafarers on behalf of Shipowners and has built a strong relationship with the ITF and welfare providers.

She was instrumental in the work leading up to the adoption of the ILO Maritime Labour Convention in 2006 and has played an active role in securing ratifications of the Convention to date.

In more recent times Natalie has led the Industry response to COVID-19 , in particular focusing on the needs of seafarers at this difficult time. Natalie joined ICS in 2003, having previously worked in the Automotive Sector. Natalie has worked in the field of Human Resources for over 35 years. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds a Masters Degree in European Human Resource Management East London Business School (ELBS).

Natalie is Secretary to the Shipowners Group at ILO, Trustee Seafarers UK and Lecturer at the ILO Training Centre in Turin.
