Rebecca Fatima Sta Maria is the executive director of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Secretariat. Prior to this, she was Secretary-General of the Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry, during which she oversaw the formulation and implementation of Malaysia’s trade policies and positions. Sta Maria is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Regional for Asia-Pacific.
