The German Shipowners’ Association VDR is the trade association and voice for the German shipping industry. Established in 1907, VDR represents the collective interests of around 200 shipping businesses headquatered in Germany with national, European and international governments and intergovernmental organisations. As an employers’ association, VDR also conducts collective bargaining and social partner negotiations.
