Seafaring champion, Natalie Shaw, awarded MBE in Queen’s New Year’s Honours list

"On behalf of the Board of the ICS I would like to warmly congratulate our Director of Employment Affairs, Natalie Shaw, on being granted (or does one say ‘awarded’?) the MBE in the Queen’s 2022 New Year’s Honours List ‘For services to seafarers during the Covid-19 Pandemic’. Natalie’s tireless efforts in championing the welfare of our seafarers over many years is well known, and this richly deserved award reflects these efforts. Joint open letter – Transport heads call on world leaders to secure global supply chains

IRU, the world road transport organisation, IATA, the International Air Transport Association, ICS, the International Chamber of Shipping, and ITF, the International Transport Workers’ Federation, have come together to make an urgent plea to the world’s heads of government and the United Nations Agencies to remove restrictions hampering the free movement of transport workers, and guarantee and facilitate their free and safe movement.
