After purchasing a course, log in to your account, and visit the ICS Academy Dashboard. Choose ‘allocate’ from the drop-down menu and select the course that you would like to allocate. 'Add learner’ and enter the first name, last name and email address of the learner. You can import batches of emails using the CSV import tool. Choose ‘send to learners’ to complete the allocation.

Once you have allocated a course to a learner, the learner will receive an email and instructions on how to enrol on the course.

All ICS Academy courses can be completed offline through a dedicated app, ‘Civica Learning’, which is available on the Google Play and iOS app stores. Head to the offline learning page to learn more: www.ics-shipping.org/academy/offline-learning.

Yes, learners can complete courses online through the learning management system at https://learning.ics-shipping.org.

You can monitor learners’ progress on the ICS Academy learning management system: https://learning.ics-shipping.org. You will receive an email with instructions for logging in to the learning management system once you have allocated a course to a learner, and you can also access a link through the ‘manage’ dropdown option on the ICS Academy Dashboard.

Once logged in to the learning management system, choose your name and ‘My team’ to view your team’s progress on the team leader dashboard.

You will need to ‘transfer’ the course credits to your colleague. Go to the ICS Academy Dashboard and choose ‘transfer’ from the dropdown menu. Enter the email address of the person who will be allocating the courses to crew.

Bear in mind that, to be able to access the ICS Academy Dashboard and allocate course credits to learners, your colleague will need to set up their own account on the ICS Academy.
