Louise is CEO of Marine and Cargo (UK) for Marsh Specialty, assuming the role in January 2020.

Prior to joining Marsh, Louise held a number of senior underwriting roles in London both for Lloyd’s Managing Agents and the world’s largest P&I Club.

Since joining the Marine market in 1996, her extensive experience includes being Director of Underwriting for W/R/B Underwriting for Non-Static Risks and Head of Marine & Energy for Talbot Underwriting.

Prior to assuming her current position Louise was Vice President at Gard (UK) Ltd running their London underwriting operation.

Louise is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and has served on the Joint Hull, Joint War and the IUA Marine Technical committees and is currently a member of the LIIBA Marine Executive Committee.  Louise studied at the University of Reading and obtained a BSc. Hons.
