Julia D’Eletto is the Marine Adviser at the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS). She is advancing the work of the Marine Department as a representative of shipowners and operators at international organisations and institutions. 

Julia holds an MSc in European and International Public Policy from the London School of Economics, where she focused on international political economy, and an undergraduate degree in Government and Global Studies from William & Mary. During her academic career, she conducted research on malicious misinformation campaigns in collaboration with the US Army.

Prior to joining ICS, Julia worked in communications and strategic consulting for social entrepreneurship foundations, Washington, DC-based think tanks, and American political campaigns. Her strong policy expertise combined with campaign-winning advocacy skills ensures she is a strong, convincing voice supporting safety and security for seafarers and shipowners alike.
