Marc Etcheberry has served as President of Armateurs de France since 8 April 2026.

Since March 2026, he has also been President of France LNG Shipping, a joint venture between GEOGAS LNG and the Japanese shipping company NYK Line.

He previously served as CEO of GEOGAS Maritime for more than twenty years, playing a key role in the development of a leading maritime gas transportation company.

A committed member of Armateurs de France for over two decades, he has held several leadership positions within the organisation, including Treasurer, Deputy President, and Chairman of the Economy & Taxation Committee.

Earlier in his career, he spent more than twelve years in ship finance, working for Société Générale in France and Crédit Agricole CIB in London.

He began his career in shipbroking with BRS, following his service as a reserve officer in the French Navy.

Marc Etcheberry holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University and an LL.M. in Trade and Shipping Law from McGill University. He is also a graduate of the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale (IHEDN).
