Marcin Talwik has been involved with the largest shipping owner in Szczecin, Poland – Polsteam Capital Group – since 1995.

During that time he was responsible for companies and ship registration in various jurisdictions. Between 2006 and 2010 he held the position of Managing Director of Cyfadaco Shipmanagement, a crewing company based in Limassol, Cyprus, as well as representing Polsteam Group in relation to tax matters. During this time he actively participated in the Cyprus Shipping Chamber.

Upon his return to Poland, from 2011 to 2023, he was responsible for contacts with trade unions with regard to collective bargaining negotiations and represented the company at IMEC, London.

Marcin is a member of the supervisory boards of various companies, including most recently Polish Ferries who were responsible for the reconstruction of ferry tonnage in Poland.

He is currently President of Zegluga Polska SA – the second largest shipowning company in Poland – and Secretary General of Polish Shipowners’ Association (ZAP). He represents the Polish Shipping Association on the ICS Board.
