Daniel Thorogood is Chief Executive Officer of Fairwater Holdings, a Florida-based owner and operator of US-flag tankers serving the United States’ coastwise trades and U.S preference cargo sector. Before joining Fairwater, he spent more than 15 years with SEACOR Holdings Inc., latterly as Chief Executive of Seabulk, where he directed the group’s diversified shipping interests spanning regional container logistics, deep-sea bulk shipping, and harbor towage. Mr. Thorogood serves on the board of The Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association (Bermuda) Limited. A graduate of University College London, he has more than 25 years’ experience in the international and U.S. domestic shipping markets, including extensive work across mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganization.
