Mr. Göran Grunditz graduated in Naval Architecture from the Royal
Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm in 2000. He joined Rolls-Royce Commercial Marine (acquired by Kongsberg in 2019), Kristinehamn Sweden, in October 2000 and has since then been working with propeller blade designs and ship propulsion hydrodynamics at the Kongsberg Hydrodynamic Research Centre. A large part of his work has focused on hydrodynamic development of propeller-rudder-hull interaction resulting in the Propulsion Manoeuvring System, PROMAS. In March 2010 he entered the role as Manager of the Hydrodynamic Research Centre a department responsible for hydrodynamic research and design of ship propulsion products. In 2017 he was appointed as a Rolls-Royce Engineering Associate Fellow in Hydrodynamics. Since 2021 he is leading the hydrodynamic organisation of Kongsberg Maritime of which Kongsberg Hydrodynamic Research Centre is an important part.
