Armateurs de France is the French shipowners’ association that represents 60 member companies operating around 1,000 ships in diversified sectors : cargo and passengers transport, offshore activities, port services, marine sand supply, assistance and rescue, oceanography and undersea research, submarine cable laying.
Its dedicated expert staff supports the members on legislation and regulation that affects their business at national, European and global levels ensuring the growth of the shipping industry based on the three pillars of sustainable development: economic, environmental and social. These are the foundations of the Armateurs de France Blue Charter, which was revisited in 2019 and was signed enthusiastically by French shipowners.
