Ausilio has over 25 years’ experience working with private and public sector clients, guiding them on business strategy and policy decisions related to a sustainable energy transition. He advises energy and transportation companies, technology developers, industry associations and governments on low carbon fuels growth opportunities. Assignments range from the technical, commercial and sustainability assessment of specific low carbon fuels technologies and supply chains to the development of innovation, business and policy agendas.

Ausilio has recently been advising energy companies, shipping companies, major ports, the IMO, Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, New Energies Coalition and Movin’on coalition on low carbon fuels in shipping. He is part of advisory panels for a range of organisations and initiatives including the UK Department for Transport Advanced Fuels Fund, the Climate Bonds Initiative’s Technical Working Group on bioenergy, the Sustainable Aviation Buyers Alliance integrity panel, the EC’s Strategic Transport Research and Innovation Agenda, and the IEA’s Bioenergy Roadmap Advisory Group.
