Christian has more than 20 years of experience in the shipping industry gained both at sea and ashore. He is a certified Master Mariner, a graduated Engineer in Nautical Science. Post his seafaring career, Christian worked in ISM/QHSE department of a reputed container liner company based in Hamburg. Christian has been contributing to the secretariat through VDR (German Ship Owner’s Association) in various panels’ and sub-committee’s discussions. He holds a Master of Science in International Maritime Management from the Jade University of Applied Sciences in Germany.
