Emily Yates is the Commercial Director for the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS). Emily is responsible for planning, developing and implementing the ICS commercial strategy and supporting the work of the Chief Finance and Commercial Officer and the Marisec Board in delivering sustainable growth and high-quality products and services that align with the International Chamber’s vision and mission.

The ICS commercial portfolio includes ICS Publications, ISF Watchkeeper, ICS Maritime Hub and ICS Academy.

Emily began her career in academic publishing before moving to the maritime sector in 2016. She now oversees the day-to-day management of a portfolio of products and services that help shipping companies operate safely and efficiently, with respect to crew welfare and environmental protection, and in compliance with international regulations.
