A unique combination of academic prowess and experience in commercial, shipbuilding, ship management, dispute resolution and senior management roles defines Jagmeet’s career. After about 40 years of practical and diverse hands-on knowledgebase, Jagmeet is an independent practicing maritime arbitrator, with expertise in charterparties, bills of lading, ship building & repair and ship finance. Jagmeet delivers active learning programs in-person as well as online for global participants.

He is on the panels of SCMA, CMAC, a supporting member of the LMAA, member of HKMAG and on the list of arbitrators of the HKIAC. He has contributed in the development of the Maritime India Vision 2030 as well as continues to participate in its implementation working groups. Jagmeet is the Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Hong Kong Branch and also the Chair of the Maritime & Logistics Arbitration Committee of the Hong Kong Centre of International Commercial Arbitration.
