Pedro Amaral Frazão is a Navy Captain, having developed a long career in the Portuguese Navy marked by command, executive and staff roles, including participation in NATO and national operational missions. Since 2013, he has been active in the private sector in the maritime-port, logistics and energy fields, having served as Board Member and Chief Sustainability Officer of Grupo Sousa.

Currently is Advisor to the Chairman of Grupo Sousa for Corporate Social Responsibility, President of the Portuguese Shipowners´ Association, Vice of GRACE – Responsible Business Association, and member of the Strategic Council for the Economy of the Sea of the Portuguese Business Confederation (CIP), as well as of the Low Carbon Fuels Platform.
