Prof. Dr. Stefan Ulreich has been teaching economics at Biberach University of Applied Sciences since 2019, focusing on energy trading, risk management, and energy policy. Prior to that, he worked for around 20 years in various positions at the E.ON Group: as a trader for green electricity and CO₂ emissions, as a portfolio manager and in market analysis – as well as in the strategy division and the energy policy department. For E.ON, he was active in various committees, including the World Energy Council, the Energy Traders Europe ETE (formerly EFET), EURELECTRIC, and bdew.

Before working in the energy sector, he worked as a quantitative analyst in interest rate trading at the investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort Benson in Frankfurt, London, and Paris. Stefan Ulreich studied theoretical physics at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich.
