Tom Bartošák-Harlow is Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), responsible for the wider communications department.

Tom has previously led the communications and public affairs at the UK Chamber of Shipping and is familiar with our members and colleagues, giving him the industry awareness and relationships to lead ICS towards a positive future. In addition to his work at the UK Chamber, Tom has held senior communications and public affairs roles at the Confederation of Passenger Transport representing the bus and coach industry, and the Country Land and Business Association, representing rural landowners.

Additionally, Tom holds a master’s degree (MA) in European Union Governance and a bachelor’s degree (BA), both from the University of Hull.
