Sean Doherty is Head of International Trade & Investment and a member of the executive committee at the World Economic Forum.

He leads the Forum’s work on trade and global economic interdependence spanning, facilitation, sustainability, digitalization and governance of trade and investment, as well as related areas of tax, competition and industrial policy coordination.

Sean earlier headed the World Economic Forum’s Supply Chain & Transport, Chemicals and Mining and Metals industry communities.

He worked previously in the logistics sector and as a management consultant.

Sean Doherty holds Masters degrees in aeronautical engineering, molecular biology, business administration and international economic law.
