An Adventurous Spirit

Following the ‘Shaping the Future of Shipping – Seafarer 2050’ summit, the International Chamber of Shipping, in collaboration with members, have produced a seafarer recruitment video titled ‘An Adventurous Spirit.’

The aim of this video is to encourage people to consider a career at sea, by speaking openly about the benefits, challenges, and importance of seafarers. Seafarers are an incredibly valuable asset to the worlds economy, transporting 90% of the worlds fuel, food, raw materials & manufactured goods by sea.

The launch of ‘An Adventurous Spirit’ coincided with the Day of the Seafarer 2023, the Shaping the Future of Shipping – Seafarer 2050 summit, and the ICS Annual General Meeting.
