Bernd Lange is MEP and Chairman of the Committee on International Trade (INTA).

Since 2019, he has been Chair of the Fair Trade Working Group of the European Parliament; Member of the Brexit Steering Group of the European Parliament (since January 2020: EU-UK Coordination Group); Member of the Delegation for relations with the countries of Southeast Asia and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
