Captain Domenico Rognoni is a Master Mariner. He graduated from the
prestigious Cristoforo Colombo Merchant Marine Academy located in Camogli, Italy.

He joined Carnival Cruise Line in 1980 and held various shipboard positions, including Staff Captain, before transitioning to the Company’s shoreside headquarters as Port Captain in 1997.

After working in several positions within the Operations Department Rognoni
was named to his current role as Chief Marine Officer in 2022. In this capacity, he is responsible for the entire CCL Marine Operation. Technical, Nautical, Security as well as Safety Operation reports to him.

Captain Rognoni is the main point of contact and Senior Marine Officer
representing CCL with Carnival Corporation. He is also the liaison with the United States Coast Guard, Ship Classification Societies and Flag Administrations. He is part of the Cruise Lines International Association’s Environmental and Safety Committees. Captain Rognoni is Chairman of the Bahamas Shipowners Association Board of Directors. Prior to joining Carnival, Rognoni held positions within the Italian Navy and at
Costa Cruises.
