Now, in their fourth year, the Shaping the Future of Shipping Summits have led to key sector-wide developments including: an industry call for a new net-zero target at the IMO by 2050; the creation of the Clean Energy Marine Hubs initiative; and the development of a closer alliance on seafarer welfare and training, including the launch of the Just Transition Maritime Taskforce.
