Navigating in Areas of Unreliable Satellite Signals Poster
Modern maritime navigation relies on GNSS systems such as GPS, Galileo and GLONASS for routing, harbour manoeuvres and ship safety. Rising incidents of GPS jamming and spoofing are increasingly impacting merchant ships. To support crews, the International Chamber of Shipping and its members has released the free Navigating in Areas of Unreliable Satellite Signals poster. This practical aide‑mémoire helps bridge teams recognise signs of disrupted satellite signals and apply best‑practice actions to maintain safe navigation. Crews are welcome to download and print this free poster for display near the conning position on board navigation bridges.
