ICS celebrates Bangladesh, one of the principal ship recyclers in the world, and the Liberian Registry, the world’s second largest registry, for ratifying the Hong Kong Convention today, leading the way for safe and sustainable ship recycling practices. ICS has championed for the Hong Kong Convention to be ratified since it’s adoption and recognises the importance of today for the safe recycling of ships to human health and safety, and the environment.
