This fourth edition was withdrawn in February 2022 and replaced by the fifth edition. Guidance for the global shipping industry to help combat the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The comprehensive 56-page document has been produced in collaboration with experts from leading international bodies. This updated version contains downloadable guidance posters.

Coronavirus (COVID-19): Roadmap for Vaccination of International Seafarers, First Edition

This first edition was withdrawn in March 2022 and replaced by the second edition. While industry bodies are working with authorities at national, regional and international levels to prioritise rapid access to vaccinations for seafarers as key workers in all countries, it became apparent that a roadmap dedicated to seafarer vaccination would help to achieve global immunisation. Vaccination of seafarers in their home countries remains the preferred option but measures should be taken now to permit access to vaccination for seafarers from all countries. The roadmap provides a framework to establish a local vaccination programme dedicated to seafarers.

This sixth edition was withdrawn in April 2023 and replaced by the seventh edition. This publication provides guidance on how to combat drug trafficking at sea and to recognise the signs of drug use and dependence among crew members. Considered the leading industry publication on the topic, this 6th edition has been fully updated by industry experts to assist shipping companies, Masters and officers, to help prepare, prevent, protect and how to respond when faced with drug trafficking and drug abuse at sea.

This book provides a comprehensive guide to maritime security. Drawing on two decades of experience in the industry, it sets out the security threats faced by the shipping industry today, the statutory requirements that ships, shipping companies and port facilities must meet, and provides guidance on how to conduct a thorough threat assessment for a voyage. A model ship security plan is also provided along with guidance on how to complete it in accordance with statutory requirements.
