China Shipowners’ Association (abbreviated as CSA) is a voluntary trade organization composed of owners, operators and managers of merchant ships engaged in waterway transportation and relevant shipping related entities, which are registered in the People’s Republic of China. It is registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and has obtained legal corporate body status in accordance with The Regulations on the Registration and Management of Social rganizations promulgated by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. It has so far 215 members operating a merchant fleet of over 70 million deadweight metric tons (DWT), which accounts for about 85% of the country’s total carrying capacity. Its administrative body is the Secretariat,11 professional committees and 2 branches have been affiliated.in the Association The Association was awarded through public appraisal as a National Model Social Organization with Excellent Performance in December 2004, and granted with AAA evaluation grade in the year of 2009 by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research

The Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research was founded in 2000 to conduct cutting edge, interdisciplinary research, and provide a conduit between scientists and policymakers. With nearly 200 members ranging from PhD researchers to Professors, from the Universities of Manchester, East Anglia, Cardiff and Newcastle, the Tyndall Centre represents a substantial body of the UK’s climate change expertise from across the scientific, engineering, social science and economic communities.
