Global Shippers’ Forum (GSF)
Global Shippers Forum (GSF) is the global business organisation speaking up for exporters and importers as the owners of goods and cargo in international trade. GSF’s members are national and regional shippers’ associations who in turn represent manufacturing, wholesaling and retailing businesses in over 25 countries across five continents.
Institute of Marine Engineering Science & Technology (IMarEST)

International Bunkering Industry Association (IBIA)
The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) is the voice of the global bunker industry and represents all stakeholders across the industry value chain. IBIA membership includes ship owners/operators, bunker suppliers, traders, brokers, barging companies, storage companies, surveyors, port authorities, credit reporting companies, lawyers, P&I clubs, equipment manufacturers, shipping journalists and marine consultants. Formed in 1992, today they have members in more than 70 countries.
International Tanker Owners Pollution Federation (ITOPF)
ITOPF has responded to over 800 incidents involving oil or chemical spills worldwide. ITOPF's highly skilled international team are ready to assist 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide impartial technical advice.
International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI)
The International Union of Marine Insurance (IUMI) is a professional body which is run by and for its members. IUMI represents national and international marine insurers and considers issues of interest to the worldwide marine insurance industry. IUMI has a unique status in the world of marine and transport insurance. Its members are dedicated to maintaining and expanding global trade focusing both on developed and emerging markets.
International Cargo Handling Co-ordination Association (ICHCA)
The International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (ICHCA), founded in 1952, is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the safety, security, sustainability, productivity and efficiency of cargo handling and goods movement by all modes and through all phases of national and international supply chains.
International Salvage Union (ISU)
The International Salvage Union is the trusted and unified global voice of its members who facilitate world trade by providing marine services which save life, protect the environment, mitigate risk and reduce loss.
International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA)
The International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA), are a leading trade association representing the vast majority of contractors and the associated supply chain in the offshore marine construction industry worldwide.
Nautical Institute (NI)
The Nautical Institute is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) with consultative status at the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Their aim is to promote professionalism, best practice and safety throughout the maritime industry and to represent the interests of their members.
